So I finally went and got Jamiroquai’s ‘Traveling Without Moving’ disc. It’s taken me a while but I’m trying to fill the gaps in my collection. Slowly but surely. I also want to get Starfield’s latest. That is not something they carry at HMV.

Yesterday I had steak for dinner. It was a magnificent steak shared with a good friend.
Steak was followed by 45 minutes of power shopping. I neglected to buy a thing.
Shopping was followed by coffee. Delicious coffee from Roca Jacks – one of the best coffee places around.
Coffee was follwed by movies. The 6th Sense (which, surprizingly I’d never seen – but I figured it out after about 1/3 the way through) and How to lose a guy in 10 days.
Movies were followed by an uneventful drive home at 3 in the morning.
I like the night. I like sitting under the stars, the cool air just barely seeping through your clothes, the slightest breeze across your face. There I am content to stay a while. To breathe deeply, filling lungs with crisp air.
I like driving just as the sun begins to rise. To see light emerge from the darkness. To see the whole world take shape.
I like crazy, blustering storms. The wind howling around. Leaves whisked in tormented frenzy with never a moments rest. The sounds of the wind easing into a gentle rhythm.
I have come to treasure these things, these moments of solitude with God. For I wouldn’t have solitude any other way.

From a comment on Mark316.com: Time for an entry
I used to get all frustrated with life, and how it was the same thing over and over… and then… I thought to myself, you know, if I threw God into the whole equation, everyday, over and over, I’d have a chance to meet God. So everyday, it’s like, in the morning, sup God? and he’s like yo Kev, lets hang out today, like we did yesterday, and like were going to tommorow… and everyday is a party… even if it’s the same, it’s with God, so I totally can’t go wrong. Everyday is a party with God… and it’s awesome.

You’ll have noticed lately that the ol’ blog has under gone some changes. Mennoboy moved, and improvements have been made. (If anyone’s interested in joining the soon to arrive mennogal, or some similar domain, let Chris know. The more the merrier.)
One change that has been made is in the comment section. I was tired of getting 5-10 spam comments, and with the improvements – such comments can be avoided. It does mean an extra step for you, my loyal (or perhaps new) readers. A simple sign up step with typekey will allow you post comments. Many other blogging programs (e.g. blogger) have a step for commenters to sign up due to the comment spam problem. Sorry for any inconvenience but, nonetheless, please do continue to comment. I really do enjoy hearing from you.
