OK … so, along with the upcoming move, I figured I may need some furniture for the new (but as of yet, unfound) residence.

These are things I’m liking at the moment (i.e. pulled out of magazines and then found online)
The Valencia Collection at Palliser … sofa tables
Brava Sofa and Corfu table and Wales ottoman at Urban Barn

I’m really not into the overstuffed sofa look, especially in an era where one’s clothing is not supposed to be frumpy, but is supposed to be tailored. So I was wondering … do those with frumpy sofas also wear frumpy clothes?

    I have to say, that cream-colored sofa is nice, the black one is too but it seems more masculine for some reason. I guess I’d have to see it in context. As for tables, I hate glass tops personally (you’re constantly windexing), but I LOVE the look of dark wood. Something contemporary with an antique-y twist. I’ve been considering making one of my own “Wales ottomans” because I think they look fabulous. The problem with leather ottomans is that you should have a sofa set that matches it, or at least compliments it in texture. But they’re awesome for use as a coffeetable too.

    I would love to go shopping with you sometime! I like to live vicariously through others. :)
