Wind Blows Deeply

absence is to love what wind is to fire; it extinguishes the small, it enkindles the great. ~comte debussy-rabutin

Another one bites the dust

July 9, 2009

I love my music. And, I like discovering new tunes.

I fell in love with Pandora. But, then Pandora was restricted to US visitors only. Then I discovered Last.fm … I could scrobble the music I had listened to and it would suggest new material. And now Last.fm too will cost money in some countries.

I came across thesixtyone but it’s not really the same. (Although the points are a little addictive.)

So, answer me this: any apps in the Pandora/Last.fm style that you would suggest?

  1. crystal Said,

It was awhile ago, but I used to listen to Pandora by just typing in random numbers for the postal code. :) like 90210. it worked!

  2. jenn Said,

It’s smarter now. I’m excluded based on my IP which “appears” to be from Canada. (Pandora is exclusive to US listeners with a US-based IP address.)
